How Does it Work

Real Time Sales Reporting

Near real time transactions will update in the platform every 30 minutes. Sales status will be marked as either Pending or Approved.

Items with a no revenue value will go straight into Approved status meaning that these are confirmed transactions.

Items with a cost greater than 0 will report as Pending until the customer transaction has been verified. Once verified, the pending item will change from Pending to Approved status. This process normally takes 2-10 days depending on the country.

Yes. To view the full API documentation, visit api-docs.partnerize.com.

These can both be found in the Account Settings section of Partnerize by clicking on the Apple logo in the upper-left corner.

Yes. There is a difference in the way the API calls are constructed for this program. All API calls must start with: https://appleservices-api.partnerize.com/

Campaign performance will be available in Analytics when transactions move from pending to approved. Campaigns will show as null on all pending items.

Summary includes clicks and overall conversions whereas Performance can be displayed by clicks or conversions, not both.

The first pivot you check in the Create tab will display first in the reporting table and subsequent pivots will be nested inside of the first one.

To find the subsequent pivots, click on the blue item in the first column. For example, in order to see the country breakdown, first select country, followed by the desired second pivot (such as product).

There are additional reporting pivots that make analyzing data even easier. These include:

  • ADAM ID - A numerical Apple "SKU". Individual products such as books, movies, etc. can now be found in the UI.
  • Subscription Type - All Apple Music conversions are either Individual, Family, or Student based on the plan type. This does not apply to other lines of business.

Media Type includes multiple products in each selection. For example, the Music Media Type will include trial, membership, winback, etc. whereas Product allows you to select individual products for your report.

In certain cases, you may want to see your performance for an entire Media Type, like Music and in other cases you may only care about Apple Music Trials and would want to use the Product pivot.

If a report contains columns for both conversions and items, they may sometimes be the same. However, conversions represents a "cart of goods" and items represents an individual item. Individual items can be billed individually or grouped into a "cart of goods", which would count as a conversion and could result in a difference between the conversions and items columns.

All data can be displayed in the time zone of your choosing and you can select which day of the week your reporting starts for any preset weekly reports. To modify your day of week or time zone settings:

  1. Go to Settings by clicking on the Apple logo in the upper-left corner and select Partner settings
  2. Under Settings on the right-hand side, choose an option from the menu for Reporting Time Zone and Week Start
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save
